We're not talking about extracurricular courses here. These are General Education Program courses certified by CSU Fresno, with academic requirements similar to those in the United States: GPA, essays, and deadlines.
When you graduate from high school, you can have up to two years of certified credits already completed and a more competitive profile for admissions and scholarships in the United States.

Your Early College pathway, year by year
1st year
Fundamentals + Introductory CoursesAcademic English proficiency courses and the first courses in the General Education Program, certified by CSU Fresno. You’ll get used to the American pace: active participation, writing, and real deadlines.
2nd year
Full course load + profileYou earn credits from General Education Program courses and build your extracurricular profile with guidance from the AUP team.
3rd year
Applications & scholarshipsWith credits and GPA in hand, you apply to US universities and scholarships, or continue on the 2+2 pathway in Ecuador.
You arrive in the US with an advantageUp to one year of advanced placement credits, enhanced academic English, and a profile that U.S. admissions offices value
