Years 1 and 2: Ecuador
You take 65 American university credits in your own city (Guayaquil, Cuenca or Quito), with General Education Program courses certified by California State University Fresno. You live at home, build your academic English and prepare the transfer.
Years 3 and 4: United States
You enter a partner university directly as a junior, complete your major and graduate with the same diploma as those who spent all four years there, with support on admissions, scholarships and the F-1 visa.
Why it makes sense for many families
- Lower total investment: the first two years cost a fraction.
- A gradual transition: maturity, English and academic pace before travelling.
- The final diploma is issued by the American university.
